Does your furry friend also receive a gift under the Christmas tree?  If you still don’t know what to give your pet this Christmas or New Year, we have some interesting ideas which we hope will make your decision easier. They will definitely be a great pleasure for your furry friend!

Top three ideas:

  • Homemade dog treats

They say love goes through the stomach. All owners are well aware that this is also true for dogs. That is why this year, in addition to holiday cookies, we also bake delicious treats for dogs.

We need:

  • 450g ground beef
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • cups of cooked oatmeal
  • 2 cups string beans
  • 2 eggs

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Cut the string beans into smaller pieces and cook them together with the ground beef in a pan over medium heat until the meat is slightly browned. Then add the already prepared pumpkin puree and cooked oatmeal. Cook the contents on low heat for another 3 minutes, then remove the pan with the contents from the heat and wait 20-30 minutes for it to cool down. During this time, prepare the baking tray and baking paper. When the mass cools down, add scrambled eggs and knead everything well (the mass will be wet) and shape the mass as desired. You can make balls, but if you want to be more creative, make treats with the help of cookie cutters. Bake the shaped treats in the oven at 180 ° C for 25 minutes. After this time, lower the temperature to 100 ° C and bake the treats for another 45 minutes. To make the treats more crunchy, leave them in the oven until they cool. Once cooled, pack them in a bag or box and place under the Christmas tree. Attention, we set the treats under the Christmas tree just before opening the presents so that some furry thief doesn’t open its gift earlier.

  • Home made toy

There is nothing better than a good toy! So look inside your closets and find an old blanket, pants or sheet and make unique gifts for under the Christmas tree. Instructions for making the toy can be found in the video.

  • Arava care products

We know that we show the most love to our furry friend with proper care. Therefore, natural Arava care products can also be a gift. In winter we especially recommend:

  • Arava Paws Bio Protector. Paws are often damaged in winter due to exposure to snow, salt and thawing products. The ointment contains avocado oil, which heals wounds and nourishes and protects the skin from external influences, sea buckthorn oil, which helps in tissue regeneration, and many other natural active ingredients. By using the ointment, the paws will be soft and healthy.
  • Arava Revitalization Shampoo and Conditioner. The fur is affected in winter due to dry air and central heating, which can lead to itching. Arava Revitalization Shampoo contains 15 active natural ingredients that will help maintain shiny, well-groomed and thick fur. The Conditioner enhances the effect of the shampoo and is recommended for dogs whose hair is severely affected by dry air.
  • Arava Paws & Body Wipes. By using these wipes in winter you can avoid the having muddy footprints in your apartment after every walk. Arava Paws & Body Wipes are also great for keeping your pet’s fur and skin clean.

And most importantly – the most beautiful gift you can give to your feathered, scaly or furry pet, large or small, is the time you spend with him.
